WHAT TO EXPECT
ON THE GROUND
When you arrive to the dropzone, you will complete a waiver and meet your instructor. After a brief yet thorough instructional class, your instructor will gear you up in your safety harness.
Your tandem skydive comes with a video and we will begin shooting footage while you’re still on the ground.
THE RIDE UP
You and your instructor will board the aircraft – a Cessna 206 – with up to two other tandem pairs (or up to four fun jumpers) and ascend to 10,000 feet, enjoying views of Praline’s stunning island the whole way up.
Once you’re a little more than half way to your jump altitude, your instructor will securely connect you and when you are at jump altitude, you and your instructor will exit the aircraft through a large cargo door.
THE FLIGHT DOWN
Every skydive has two distinct parts – freefall and canopy flight. Freefall begins as soon as you exit the plane and fly belly-to-earth at a speed of 120 mph for nearly an entire adrenaline-soaked minute. At around 5,500 feet, your instructor will deploy the parachute and you will float under canopy for 5-7 bliss-filled minutes and you will land on the beach in front of our office.

Since your tandem skydive includes pictures and video, you will be able to relive your experience and share it with your friends and family. Your video will feature a pre-flight interview, scenes from the ride up, footage of your skydive, and a post-jump interview. Be yourself, smile a lot and have a ton of fun making your video!

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. You must be AT LEAST 18 years old on the day of your jump. Must bring a government-issued ID.
2. You must weigh 250 POUNDS OR LESS. $20.00 charge for anyone 231 pounds – 250 pounds. Must wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
3. I understand I will spend at least TWO to FOUR hours at the drop zone.
4. You must sign a legal waiver of rights to participate.
5. Rescheduling is allowed prior to your jump or if we cancel due to BAD WEATHER.
6. If you cancel or don’t show up, you will lose your initial deposit or 50% if you paid in full.
7. In consideration to others. If you are sick, i.e the flu, we kindly ask you to reschedule your visit with us until you’re healthy once again.

PLANNING YOUR DAY
Ready, Set, Skydive!
THE DAY BEFORE
The day before your tandem skydive, eat and drink as normal, please avoid alcohol, and get a good night’s sleep. You’ll want to be at your best so you can fully appreciate the awe that comes with leaping out of a plane at 10,000 feet.
Be mindful that SCUBA and skydiving can be a dangerous combination. Wait 24 hours to skydive after SCUBA diving to be sure decompression sickness stays at bay.
JUMP DAY
EAT
Eat and drink as normal; a light meal and water before you jump is ok.
BRING
Make sure you have your valid, government-issued ID to prove you’re over age 18.
WEAR
Dress comfortably, ideally in athletic gear, shorts or jeans, and wear closed-toe shoes. No flip flops, sandals or heels. Wear your glasses or contacts as normal – we’ll provide you with sanitized goggles.

Fly Seychelle Skydiving Centre is open year-round from 6 am to sunset seven days per week, with weekend days being our busiest. Walk-ins are welcome; please call ahead +248 263 9300.
Anyone looking for adventure, challenge, and most importantly, FUN can skydive! The minimum skydiving age limit is 18 years of age, and you are never TOO old to start jumping!
A minimum degree of fitness is required to complete a tandem skydive and ensure a safe landing for you and your instructor. Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is an indicator of this.
Women Weight: 200 lbs or less
Men Weight: 100.0 kg/220 lbs or less
BMI: 30.0 or less
Please note, our staff will weigh you (with your shoes and clothes on) when you check in on the day of your skydive. You are welcome to visit our locations before you book your skydive to weigh yourself on our scales.

Please bring a government-issued photo ID or passport with date of birth and cash or credit card to pay the balance due.
You’ll check-in at the Manifest window in the office where you show your photo ID, fill out the required paperwork, pay for your jump (cash or credit card only), and meet your instructor.
Arrive at the time of your booking and plan to spend four to six hours on site. Typically, you will jump anywhere from two to four hours after your arrival. Timing depends on the weather and the size of your group. Friends and family who are invited to watch should be prepared to wait. They can relax at picnic tables outside, or Cote d’Or Lodge’s restaurant and watch jumps next to the dropzone.
We will supply goggles that can go over glasses and contacts.
We jump from 10,000 feet unless clouds prohibit us from getting that high. (By law, we cannot skydive through clouds.) During your freefall, the average speed is 120 mph or 200 ft. per second!
You’ll be able to breathe normally. After all, you’ll be surrounded by fresh air!
Blue skies are the best: clouds, rain, and wind can all prevent skydiving. For tandem jumping, clouds must be at least 8,000 ft. above the ground, and then jumps are limited to 7,500 ft. The first concern is always safety.
Refunds will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
Our professional team of tandem instructors have jumped with students and alongside skydivers of all abilities across their careers.
We are very open to learning about your specific needs and would be delighted to accommodate you if we can. If you have concerns, connect with your doctor before you book.
Be sure to tell your instructor ahead of time, particularly if you have back or joint problems. We may require proof from your doctor that it is safe for you to skydive.
If scheduling permits, you may ride in the airplane together, but each tandem jumper leaves the plane separately from other jumpers with a maxim of 3 tandem jumpers per plane.
You can use your camera anywhere on the ground. However, for your and your instructor’s safety, we do not allow you to bring your camera of any size or type on the freefall jump.
We adhere to the United States Parachute Association’s recommendation that skydivers must have a minimum of 200 jumps and have had training before using any recording device.
Photos and an edited video of your jump are included in the price of your tandem skydive.
Please do! Eat a light meal and drink water as normal. Absolutely no alcohol in your system at the DZ.
Please no pets or unattended children. No smoking in the office or around the gear.
Do not consume any alcoholic beverages within eight hours of arrival at Fly Seychelles Skydiving Centre.
